Mark Dickens

Since studying art at Salisbury, Southampton and Preston - where I graduated with a degree in illustration - I have concentrated on becoming an established landscape artist. I have exhibited in numerous Cornish Galleries and was a successful entrant of the Singer & Friedlander/Sunday Times Watercolour Competition 2005, which exhibited in London and Manchester.

I'll never forget the first time I visited St.Ives. It was a catalyst to my career as an artist, giving me the focus, inspiration and determination to succeed. My paintings are essentially a celebration of the town - my favourite place in the world!
